The Sandbox Episode 89 – Past Life Review
The first pod of Agents of SHIELD ends with lots of death and plenty of questions, and Past Life takes on multiple meanings as an episode title. Apparently our team has made it back to the past, but what does that mean for those left in the future? And has anything been put into place to change things this time around, or does it all center around Coulson’s mysterious illness?
Join us for show news, commentary and analysis for Past Life, Faith’s CoulSass moments, and our listener feedback segment! This week we talk about Elena’s horrible fate, Daisy’s self-sacrificial motives, Coulson’s big secret, Fitz’s gruesome kill tactics, Jemma’s amazing rescue, and much more.
Remember to join the Agents of SHIELD (and other Marvel properties) discussion on Facebook and follow us on Twitter for the latest news and live tweets during the episode. And don’t forget to vote for your favorite CoulSass moment in the Facebook group as well!

The space PCP line was good.
Fair points about the arms Dave but I’m still unsure on that plan as she could get out open doors and set up a jam to another or if she has people helping she could escape so I’m still of the opinion taking her feet would have been smarter because they could always push her around to land on gurneys.
I’d be surprised if they killed off Phil Coulson. I figure they’ll go more faked death or something to beat the prophecy or let him stay dead long enough for it to pass and then bring him back. This feels like a good plot for Jemma to showcase her doctor skills!
Again voting Daisy saying “Feel that?” in the sass poll!
I agree I don’t get why Daisy would buy her guilt based on the evidence presented, as the clip shows she’s just walking so she could as easily be going to help the situation as start it. This might be residual guilt for her over Quake actions and she’s now becoming scared of her powers and what they could do more than she believes she did this – this is just an excuse to validate her concerns. Here’s hoping we get a great Skimmons friendship scene over the removal of the inhibitor because Jemma so should be the one doing that!
